I too have had several surgeries and for some reason, when I lose blood or what ever they do to you during surgery...I become Anemic. Tell him to get his blood checked. He might just need some meds to build up his blood. Also, during my last surgery, I developed Fibromyalgia and the Epstein Barr Virus. This could be something he could be check for. I know that I take medication for both and i have a lot more energy. the only thing is, sometimes I have a bad day, still...but, more good days than bad. Stressful jobs can agravate this condition....Good Luck!
