When I was 16 this happened to me and no one knew what caused it...Again, when I was 20 (in the Army) it happened and I was placed on a salt-free diet....They seemed to think it was related to female problems...My daughter had the same thing happen to her and after many false diagnosis, they decided on epilepsy.....However, she later went to a brain specialist and a tumor was found, which was removed. She had been on dilantin ....Check for the tumor (my daughter's was not malignant)
