I have been taking Celebrex for about five years and have not experienced any of the stomach problems they say might happen. I have had some weight gain, but that is because of having to take Prednisone as well. I take 200mg twice daily of the celebrex. Of course it could be that my stomach is caste iron. One must be sensitive to their own body. There is nothing wrong with checking out those things that seem troubling as you have described them.
