My father had a stent put in his abdomen 3 years ago. At the time, it was still experimental. He is doing great..... no problems at all. The large stent was put in his main artery with two smaller stents leading into his leg arteries. Bob Dole was just on the Today show talking about the very same stent that he had gotten and that he also was doing fine. I can only tell you I've only heard good things about them.
