First of all don't worry too much before talking with your urologist. Probably if the stone is under 2cm in size it will be possible to break it into tiny pieces using laser technology, this is quite painless and you will urinate the sand-grain sized particles within two weeks. If possible you should try to capture some of the particles as it would be a good idea for your physicians to analyse the stone. Good luck!
