Contact the American Tinnitus Association at ata.org. The buzzing or ringing you are describing is known as tinnitus. The ATA can help you find out which medications have tinnitus as a side effect. Then you can talk with your doctor about finding an alternative medication. Doctors are sometimes not too knowledgable about tinnitus and that is why I recommend contacting the ATA. I have had tinnitus chronically for years now and the ATA has been a good support for me. Good luck!
