I have been on prednisone for the past 6 years. I now have secondary addisons disease. I have no hair growth under my arms and the pelvic area. My leg hair grows very slow. I do have excessive hair on my face which is so embarrasing. My head hair is now wavy before it was straight. It isn't falling out though. I take a lot of other meds and I was on very high doses of pred. My friend who is a hairdresser was very surprised that it didn't effect my hair. The texture is different but thank goodness it is not falling out. Good luck.
