If you are on a prednisone type drug for shingles you're on the right track. My two bouts with Shingles 20 years apart and prednisone handled both events without complications. Be sure and continue seeing your doctor until the virus is completely under control. You lnow this will never go away as it remains in your system, mostly dormant, for life. Godd luck, Eileen
