I sympathize with you on this. I had it for years and it slowly went away but does come back now and then. IC is an inflammatory condition in the bladder. You don't always have a bladder infection with it, but antibiotics do help for some strange reason. I have found that Cipro is the best antibiotic to use. Drink lots of water, although, this doesn't always seem to help. You might want to ask your doctor about siver nitrate being introduced directly into the urinary outlet. It does help.
