I would take him back to the doctor. Theremay be an underlying condition going on. Depression in Children can heppen when a child loses a parent or family member. What I have seen in that regards is aggressive behavior and sometimes clinging behavior too. I only have experience with this through being a foster mom several years ago. I hope this helps. Your pediatrician should be able to answer most of your questions though. Take care and hope he is feeling better soon.
