I had what was diagnosed as piriformis syndrome/sciatica......athletically inclined people are more likely to get piriformis......for me there was pain in the buttock......sometimes down the back of the leg....eventually down the side of the leg and across the top of foot......saw MD, sports medicine doc and physical therapist....didn't believe in chiropracty, but as last resort went to one and am cured....other medical care didn't work and pain got progressively worse.....it's wonderful to be pain free (thanks to my chiropractor)...
