I have been ill on and off for 12 years approx 3 years ago I was diagnosed with negative ana Lupus, this means I am negative for the lupus blood test but show all the clinical signs of Lupus. Had I had the test 12 years ago I may have been positive , I will never know. I have also talked to another woman in the same situation, although she has been seriously ill over the years I have managed to keep out of hospital although quality of life has been seriously affected. I now feel I have got the Lupus under control by avoiding the sun, resting and I also visit a Homeopath and more recently an accupunturist. I have learnt that listening to your body and ignoring what the blood tests show is best. You know what your body is doing.
