I was diagnosed with Lupus 15 years ago. My ANA comes back both positive and negative depending if I am in a flare. my other symptoms are increased platelets, achy joints, hair loss, extremely tired at times, and sensitive to the sun. A flare can be triggered by stress and also by being in the sun, so please stay out of the sun and use sunscreen and a hat if it can't be helped. Even though sometimes life makes it impossible to do, try and stay as stress free as possible. Lupus means wolf and it can be very hard to diagnose. Also, keep in mind that a positive ANA does not always mean you have Lupus. It is sometimes brought on by certain drugs. Best of luck to you. If you do indeed have Lupus, please don't give up.
