I have my scars on my left arm.I had lost body tissue along with the discoloration that travelled towards my shoulder. The only two treatments I found to help were steroid injections to soften the skin and build up body tisse, and self tanning cream.Try to avoid the sun, however I don't, foolish me!Good luck! Cindy
