Hi: I have had this condition since 1983, with no evidence of it spreading or being relieved. The condition doesn't bother me,I have no real sensation that is out of the normal. I have the effected area on my left arm from below my elbow to my shoulder. I'm not sure that I concur with your dermatologist, no creams have ever had impact or induced a change. Years ago I lost body tissue in that area and had it built up with steroid injections. My condition is labeled as Linear Morphea.I believe it may have correspondence with Raynauds Phenomenon and or lupus or connective tissue disorder. I have been told that the relieving issue is that it will never turn into Scleraderma, which is by enlarge fatal. I am no expert just living with this for 19 years. I'm 51 now and give it very little thought. Oh most important.....AVOID THE SUN! Good luck, Cindy
