Hypoglycemia

It is important to have snacks between meals to keep the blood glucose from dropping too low. A combination of protein and a complex carb is a good choice. Stay away from sugar because after a quick high, the blood sugar will drop to sub-normal. When you get your diet regulated then it is OK to have a sugar item when you have other food in the stomach. It's best to eat fruit along with something like cheese. Good luck.
