The reality is that doctors are oftenthe LAST to know about reactions between medications because they either don't read the literature or they have to wait for patients to complain and them be smart enouhg to look into it. This could take awhile. Better to rely on your our gut feeling on this! Are you only taking the Zoloft once a day? I was unclear about this from your post. If you are only taking it at night then it should be easy to to taper off. Zoloft isn't a med you should stop cold turkey. But if you are on a low dose it shouldn't be a problem. Once you stop, you'll know if it is indeed the Zoloft causing the Hives. If you are still gettting the hives after a a few weeks I would look at something else in your environment. New detergent, sheets, PJ's, soap, anything that could irritate your skin. Even something ingested. You can also ask your phamacist for a complete package insert on Zoloft to see a complete list of Adverse reactions. Something your Doctor should have done with his/her PDR the moment you mentioned this problem!!! Good Luck! Kimb
