My sister in law had the double vision problem after RK surgury, which I guess is somewhat similar to cataract surgery, although less radical. She had to wear hard contacts for almost two years to eliminate the double vision. Something to do with the scar tissue, I guess. Now she no longer needs to wear the contacts.
