Dear Linda I have recently been diagnosed after many years of complaining withSLE and Sjorgrens syndrome The treatment I am to start on is Depo-medrone to bring the inflammation under control and while it will take time for the plaqiunal to kick in I am not sure as to how well this ill work but at least it is a start. I hope this gives you a little information. but the best person to talk to is the rheumatologist. Take care and I ope you get the right treatment soon so as you dont suffer.
