I recently discovered a lump on my rib cage the size of a short fat pickle. I went to my doctor who felt of it, and diagnosed it as being a "Fatty Tumor". Can a doctor determine this simply by feel alone? He says because it moves, that it is not cancerous. Should I get a second opinion? Should he have ran some kind of test or done a biopsy on it? Please inform me of the medical term for a "Fatty Tumor", and any other information concerning this. Thank You
