I am 17 and have been on Accutane for 5 months.For the first month to 2 months your acne will get much worse but after that you will call it the "miracle drug", too.A friend to a friend, please be careful while you are on Accutane.Please pay attention to your mood and behavior and any changes that you may see in yourself.While I have had mild acne since I was 15, I was always in the "popular" group at school and always friendly and happy.For the past 2 months I have been very moody and I have no tolerance anymore.The smallest things get me so mad now.I have read newspaper articles on how young, happy Accutane users like me have killed themselves for no reason at all.Reports show that 64 confirmed suicides since 1982 were because of Accutane.To tell you the truth, my biggest fear in the world is to die, so then why are these reports, my mood change, and Accutane beginning to make me fear for my own life?Please be careful if you do decide to use the medicine.Ask yourself the same question I am asking myself: "Are my looks more important than my life?"If you want to talk more, feel free to e-mail.
