I was in a car accident this last Nov. 2000 and was hit head on. I was unconscious temporarily. I had a brain MRI and Cervical Spine MRI. I have 2 bulging discs, one pressing on the nerves. I can't take muscle relaxers, and have just been through physical therapy which is not doing any good. Was just taken out of physical therapy and sent back to the doctor. I was also diagnosed with carpal tunnel and had another MRI for lower spine, with curvature and narrowing and bulging discs there also. I was prescribed pain patches which take the edge off the pain and use heating pad. I keep getting relapses with the muscles in my neck. Goes into muscle spasms. My specialists says they can now open you up and remove adhesions, he has found out. I have not had this done, but am wondering if this is something that might be of some help. I am having my carpal tunnel surgery next month. If I still have numbness in my arms after this it will be from the discs pressing on the nerves. I take celebrex also, but I don't get any relief either.
