I am a 25-year-old female and have had vitiligo since I was about 4-years-old. It started on my knees and grew to the backs of my legs, with spots appearing on the tops of thighs, my hips, and ankles. When I was about 11 the melanin in my skin spontaneously 'freckled' back (I have tried to link this with things I may have done or taken). However, the vitiligo started reappearing on my toes, fingertips, and around my eyes. Also, I have noticed if I get a cut, which scars, vitiligo will start 'spotting' there. Has anyone had similar experiences?
