i had been diagnosed with cluster headaches (sort of a group of severe migraines)about 16 yrs. ago.. nothing really ever help me much (cafergot)(old med). i used high doses of caffiene to relieve my cluster migraines. that work fine , until i decided to find away to prevent them or at least break the cycle.. I went to a (N) doc. he sugested i try this med that is used for seisurs(topomax)or(topamax), i forget how to spell it.. I was gradually weaned on to the med. increasing doses and frequency till the headaches went away. it work very well as the preventative med. I then was weaned off .. its been a while since ive had any more clusters.. its the first med i know of that broke the cycle of my clusters migraines. RJ
