hi i read ur mail and was indeed happy for u.I have a friend with Thalassemia Major and it is on behalf of her that i am writing to u.As u said u had Thalassemia Major and after bone marrow transplanet u r now cured,what i would like to know is that are u fully cured or still need blood transfusion and what are the risks of having a bone marrow transfusion.Does it have an age limit or can be done at any period during ones lifetime.If u have any other information please do contact me.I will be waiting for your reply.
