Hi: my brother got this "bug" from drinking well water at an older home. Had bad diahreah which lead to stomach ACHE. He finally went to the regular doctor and was given some antibiotics. Took care of it. If you don't get it treated, it won't go away. They are microbes, I believe. Thankfully, we have remedies at our local doctors and don't have to seek out even a gastroenterologist. Have a stool culture done to make sure this is what he has, again the primary care doc. can order this and have results in a day or two.
