have you seen a dermatologist..i have that and redness of my cheeks, im under treatment for yrs now and controled, i have what is called roscea, its a skin disease in which there is no cure for it but it can be under control, im using ..differin and noritate and its working and my face doesnt look swollen but alot of this can aggravate it like the weather, sun, achol, foods and anything harsh used on ur face, i use aveeno acne soap and it helps alot, if left untreated it will get worse , i had used metro gel and that does not work for me i needed something stronger, any creme like neutogena creme works well for dryness it has to be hypo comedgnic products on ur face so when looking make sure it tells u that.seek a derm...if anything email me .good luck.
