My grandson had ring worm for the whole summer last year. It got on his scalp and his hair fell out, he still has some bald spots. The doctor gave him pills for fungal infections. Even using the creams and pills as directed, it did not go away for several weeks. You have to remember that it is VERY contagious and all sore should be covered by either clothing bandage or it will spread.
