Cindy, Thanks for your response. I am actually seeking info for my baby sister-she is 42 & has it in lungs for last 5 yrs. She has taken high dosages of prednizone. She is doing better right now & her doctor wants her to go off the prednizone but she is afraid if she does it will return. So she is very low dose right now. We have tried to give her positive mental belief that she is in remission and I think it has helped. She would love to find something other than prednizone because it has such bad side effects. She tries to keep walking. She was taking something to boost her immune system but I believe Sarcoidosis is an over-active immune problem and I told her maybe she should wait & may need an immune suppressant instead. Doctors just don't seem to know much more than we do-am searching for a Doctor who knows about this disease. THANK YOU - THINK POSITIVE!!
