Hi, I had the same thing happen to me. I went in for yearly checkup and had an abmormal pap. Then I had 2 more and they were also abnormal. Then I had the byopsy. I also had HpV.I then had the laser surgery.It is very painful.I think drs underestimate the pain of it.It took about 3 months for me to fell almost normal again. now it has almost been a year(Oct).I have to go back for pap test in 3 months and then I can start to have them every 6 months. All of the paps I have had since the surgery have been normal. I hope this has been helpful to you.
