Have you had an MRI to check the hip area? I did and it showed a lesion in the hip area. Possibly there is something else wrong and additional tests should be done. Did you have cortizone injections and did they give you any relief? My doctor is treating me with cortizone into the hip joint as well as the bursa sack. I have had some relief. I can sleep at night now.
