I also had a fusion (with bank bone) and plate for the c5, c6 levels. I had almost immediate relief of arm pain and weakness. No problems with headaches. Went through a couple of problems with muscle tightness which was worked through with physical therapy. I have no regrets about having this surgery. It has now been 2 1/2 years since my surgery.
