My husband keeps getting blood clots in his lungs. He is on his sixth or seventh one. He has two right now. The medicines don't seem to be working. He drinks alcohol, and I am not sure how this could be part of the problem that the medicine would not work? This all came from a knee surgery in (9/02). Now it is April, he is in so much pain mentally and physically. The doctors basically tell him that they don't know and it is possibly terminal. What can you tell me through your personal experience?
