My son's doctors told me today that due to the severe curvature of his spine that he needs to have surgery. He is 10 yrs. old with C.P. and in a wheelchair. I wish to talk to parents or adults who have had this surgery and the good,the bad and the ugly of it. I was told that nothing besides surgery will correct or even improve this condition, however, being somewhat stubborn I find when words as can't, never,nothing etc., are used generally the reverse is true. Any and all data that I can acquire in reference to this will be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance.
