It sure sounds like you have Arnold CHiari Malformation, which is rare and few doctors know to much about it but if you check healthlink they have a great site on it and explains everything you need to know. It can be taken care of if you get it taken care of in time. many people have been treated for it I have it but had gone to spine also, I would check it out if dealt with you'll feel great.
