Many years ago now,about 21 I think, I used a Sears wetting alarm for my son who is now 25. It worked beautifully and I never observed any negative effects from it. I would highly recommend trying it. As I recall it only took 1-3 nights to completely end the problem and saved me alot of frustration changing a wet bed daily. Good luck.
