Jordan, In Aug '98, I had fusions of C45,56,67. I actually went home the next day because I felt so well! The numbness and pain had disappeared and the drain they had on my hip (used my own bone instead of a cadaver bone) fell out. I must say that it was the BEST thing I ever did! I had been in so much pain and because I held out for so long in getting the operation (about 3 years), other disks became involved. Thus they had to fuse more than they would have had to had I had it done when they first told me too. If you have any questions or concerns, PLEASE feel free to email me.
