I am 36 years old and I had my tonsils out three weeks ago, the first two weeks were hell, I would rather go through child birth again. Three weeks later I still have a sore throat but am eating and drinking normally again, except my sense of taste has gone wrong and I have a constant bad taste in my mouth, which makes food and drink taste horrible. I also feel like I have a constant fur ball at the back of my throat and it feels like food is stuck there.Does any one know how long this takes to get better? Good luck to anyone in recovery, only those who have been through it understand.
