Heidi, You poor thing! I had my tonsils removed when I was 33 and I am now 40 and I feel for your. It was a living hell!!! I had absolutely no choice though, I had been sick for years with chronic sore throats and everytime I went to a doctor and they looked at my throat they would comment on how big my tonsils were. I never knew that this was not good. I do not know the name for it but I guess they were pretty bad when they were taken out. I suffered so much getting them out but I would do it again without even thinking about it. It was so worth it. I guess it has been about 10 days since your surgery. If you feel like talking about it, email me so we can compare notes about the things related to this operation that no one tells you about! I hope you are feeling better now. The good thing is that your voice sounds really bad even when you feel better so you can make your boss and friends and family feel really sorry for you :-).
