I,too have been diagnosed with TOS. I am left-handed by birth; I had an injury to my neck and left side of body a few years back. I got accustomed to doing repetitive work with my right arm.That's where the TOS has developed. I have numbness and tingling in my fingers,excruciating pain in my shoulder, and difficulty picking up objects with my fingers. From what I understand, unless there is another rib involved,there is no need for surgery. Ask your doctor about cortisone injections. Might help!!!
