I have never really diagnosed with DVT, put off as you say with "strain", but I have extreme pain and swelling in my ankles and it seems to travel up my calves with a little discoloration. I do have a family history of leg blood clots although I have not seen this yet. My skin all feels very tight and really is sore to touch and hurts. Do these symptoms sound familiar to you?
