Your message describes my 9 year old daughter exactly. It is heartbreaking. Definitely tell your school district that you want a multi-factored evaluation (MFE) done on her. Although my daughter did surprisingly well on the testing, I did get her qualified for special services next school year. I also feel that time is passing her by. Don't wait any longer and don't listen to teachers saying it will "just click", the testing can take up to 3 months so you want to get started as soon as possible.
