I was recently rushed to the hospital with chest pain and abdominal pain. My blood pressure was very high: 176/97. I thought I was dying. All the tests were done (EKG.,heart enzymes, ultrasound of the gallbladder, etc.) and all the tests came back Normal. Two days later, I picked up the April issue of Chatelain magazine to find my symptoms in an article. It said that estrogen levels are extremely low during the first 5 days of a woman's period and gives the symptoms of a heart attack in many women during that time. I am bringing that article to my doctor's office and get my estrogen level checked.
