I have had heartburn/reflux for 30 years and have taken a number of different prescription drugs , that have given me some but not complete relief. These drugs included Tagemet, Losec and Cimetidine. My heartburn was so bad that I had two use several pillows at nught and I could get heartburn from drinking a glass of water. Recently I visited a specialist, who put me on a perscription drug by the name of " Pantaloc " ( 40 mg ...once every morning ) He told me that in a few days my heartburn would be gone. It was gone THE FIRST DAY. I have not had one minute of heartburn in three weeks and I gave it a good test by eating things ( like spicy food and sweets ) that always gave me a problem in the past.
