Sorry to hear about your misfortune. And it has been a while since you posted this message, so hopefully you will receive this. My daughter is 12, she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was 10...it has been rough, very! She is on at least 3 shots a day, countless testing and so forth. But every chance I get I try to remind her that there are other kids out there who are worse off than she is. I can't let her let the diabetes make her weak and let her have excuses why she can't do what she wants to with her life. So, hopefully if your daughter turned out to be diabetic, you won't let her sit there and feel sorry for herself.
