Hi Grace, I was beginning to think that kyphosis was for kids only!I haven't had any treatment at all yet , except for a spinal epidural to calm my sciatic nerve down. I had a lot of pain in my leg , referred from my back, so the injection was needed to give me some rest from pain before surgery. Tell me more about the muscle spasms - they sound awful. Has your Dr recommended surgery ? do you know how bad your kyphosis is ? I am contemplating having the surgery early next year if I can hold out that long - there are many reasoins why I can't have it right now . But I have to admit I am really really scared and would prefer to get it over and done with. You can email me for a more private correspondence if you like!
