I was just put on Provera today. I have been experiencing what I termed "the last hurrah" at the end of my period. My bleeding was so bad I would gush over double pads. My doctor did a hysteroscopy last week. Lab results showed I was not ovulating and my uterine wall is really thick. I don't know if I processed all the information correctly. I go back in 3 months for a biopsy. If the medication doesn't help, the doctor said a vaginal hysterectomy would be the next step.
