I have had asthma for about 8-9yrs & it started in adulthood, as recent as about 3wks ago I started coughing & thought it was a cold, I had never had coughing w/ asthma, my inhalers are a poor help for the coughing where as they used to help alot w/ regular attacks. I too cough so hard sometimes as to vomit, it seems the more often it occurs that's when some tissue may appear. Not a permin. solution but, cough drops help alot for immend. relief. I'm pregnant so my perscription options are very limited right now. I have a great pulmonary dr. who has never steered me wrong but, it's just going to be a new round of trial & error.
