I wish that there was something that I could say to help you, but I too am at a loss with Lichen Planus. I contacted this dreaded diesase in Nov. 2000 and it has gotten worse. I have tried everything in the alternative dept. and nothing helps. I can't eat anthing that isn't mashed to a pulp. I have literly fallen on my knees because of the pain. I also have Non Hodgkins Lymphoma stage 4 (terminal) and I think because of the treatment Rituxan I did last year for my cancer it has brought on the Lichen Planus. It is very painful, and when there seems to be no hope for a cure it is scary. It has totaly changed my life in ways I never thought possible. My lips are swollen and inffected so even the simple pleasure of a kiss hurts. I wish you all the best in all of your results and and help you can get
