My daughter also has this problem, which has become mine whether I have wanted it to or not. It is a very complex and difficult thing to deal with. What I know is that Paxill, Wellbrutrin, Ginko Biloba vitamins etc., and a good diet help. A lot of patience and someone who really cares and learns about this disorder right along with you. It is a "roller coaster", but from my studies therepy with an experienced professional is also helpful. Don't give up is my motto. Exercise, lots of water, take the right meds (whatever ones seem to help the most) consintantly. Paxill & Wellbrutrin seem to be helping her, as long as she takes them as precribed and regularly. She is montered by a Dr. who is knowledgable with these and other disorders. That is the most important. Someone who knows and has empathy. Second opinions are helpful too. It is a long process, but I believe this disorder can be improved with consistant belief in ones self to "never give up" It really helps to join a support group-to relate to others with the same challenges. She needs that and that is where I come in. To help her get associated with the right people. It is so hard. If you are with people who don't understand it can really make the journey tough and less effective. Hopes this helps in some small way.
